Chef Jason

Jason Rickard, Vice President

Chef Jason, a Wichita native and East High alum, found his passion for cooking after graduating from Northwestern University and realizing law wasn’t the right path. A move to Denver with his now wife, Rachele FioRito, opened the door to a culinary journey that included working at top restaurants like ChoLon, Guard & Grace, Safta, Beckon*, and the Michelin-starred Frasca Food & Wine. Returning to Wichita, he launched FioRito Ristorante with Rachele and his brother Jordan, showcasing local ingredients, handmade pasta and bread, and warm hospitality. A former tennis player turned pickleball enthusiast, Jason is now joining the TapNPaddles team to introduce a fresh Mediterranean concept to Wichita.
